I'm back!

Well, it is mid November. I have finally got to a place where I can start my Civil War Bride Quilt. I actually bought my background fabric yesterday. I chose a lovely taupe that is almost a tone on tone but had faded roses all over it. Bought the whole 8m. bolt.
have I cleaned up my sewing room? Well, not much. But I am finshed all my Christmas shopping. I am working 3 or 4 days a week so next week I plan on devoting a whole day to working on my first block. I'll get back to you then with a picture.

  1. Dear Judi, thanks for leaving a comment on my CWBQ groom block. I don't have your email address so I have to leave my reply here, hope it's okay.
About the groom block. I don't know if you read the earlier posts on CWBQ blog about the groom? Someone showed Lizzie a needlework pattern and Lizzie made up the pattern for his. Then everyone went and embellish the block as they pleased. In my case I will take one of the block out from the pattern and replace with this one. If you would like a copy of pattern I am sure Lizzie would be happy to give it to you. It was nice to meet you and looking forward to seeing your block soon - Hugs Natima
